Guy & Ralna of “The Lawrence Welk Show” have been the most popular singing couple on the longtime television series since 1969. More than 3 million people watch them on TV each week on “The Lawrence Welk Show” that’s broadcast throughout the United States and Canada. The TV series is in its 52 year on national television.
In their live, 80-minute patriotic concert, Guy & Ralna will pay a special patriotic salute to all five branches of our Armed Forces. They will also perform big band, gospel, pop and country tunes with an 11-piece band. Some of the patriotic tunes that Guy & Ralna will perform include: God Bless America, Ragged Old Flag, Let the Eagle Soar, God Bless the USA, Let There Be Peace on Earth, Strike Up the Band, and the Armed Forces Medley (recognizes all 5 branches of the service). Ralna English will perform, “A Song of Peace,” a very moving and beautiful song. Guy Hovis will perform his fabulous “Let the Eagle Soar” solo he performed for the Presidential Inauguration in 2004.
Together, Guy & Ralna have appeared in 14 national PBS TV specials, and most recently Ralna starred in her own PBS special, “Ralna English: From My Heart” where she performed with a 75-piece philharmonic orchestra and a 150-voice choir.
Guy & Ralna will greet their fans after the show and sign autographs.
